WE FORGET We forget the small miracles, the things you do, until we look back at the trials we've already come through. We forget to see your presence until all is done, when unharmed through temptation we finally come. We forget in our burdens we are more than the sparrow. We forget that our path is the winding and narrow. We forget to keep our eyes, alone upon you, when we're caught up in the appeal of this world too. We forget we aren't here to be content, but to do, all the things that first and only glorify you. We forget when we're discouraged, when our steps falter each day, that no matter what we face, you provide our escape way. We forget because you seem not to answer all our giant pressing needs. We forget to look small for nothing grows without first seeds. by Je' Leites
