My only Solace 6/14/00 


"I am solo in this world of water" dc talk

Although this quote comes from a poem that is quite different from mine 
below ... in a way ... it kind of is appropriate.

"My only Solace"

Alone in this huge and unforgiving
ocean you are my only solace
my laughter and joy
sorrow and sadness are no more
drowned in your love and care
i swim forever now fearless
of the fear
i walk on water
you are my only solace
my help my shoulder to cry on
a hand to forever hold
i will never fall
my only solace 
is you
the commander of the seas
oceans and water
my Father 
i the blessed one
whome you call your own
on the beach of forgivenss
i kneal
